asp_web_howto thread: VID connects to the web

Hi all,
Recently, when i try to view pages in my project, VID attempts to connect
via my ISP to gain access to the web. When i click 'stay offline', IE
error page occurs that the page is not available offline. Kindly help
pls, my OS is win 2000 advanced server and VID is version 6.

Re-run the Internet Connection Wizard and tell Windows you are connected via
a LAN.
In Internet Explorer (Tools | internet options | Connections) ensure that
you have "never dial a connection" selected.
