Hi,

I am new to creating asp pages having only started this year. I am not

sure if this is the right forum for my query/request, but I want to be

able to create Web pages, that will allow others to create their own web

pages based upon a template. I realise that there are programs such as

Frontpage and Dreamweaver etc that allow this to happen but I want to do

it from within an Intranet site.

I want to assist instructors in my organization to create simple web

pages that contain text that they can input and utilise images and/or

video clips that I can provide. I have already built a search engine

that will allow the visitor to the website on our Intranet to search by

category or word search for media product. Based on their search they

can request existing media product to be available for their lessons and

they can also request that new media be made.

I have been asked to design two or three basic one page templates that

can be used to disseminate simple information by the instructors when

they fill in the blanks. I have thought about using a database to

receive and store the information that they want on their page including

the references for images or video but then I need to publish the page.

At the moment I cannot seem to see the wood for the trees and am still

stuck on first base - any suggestions would be appreciated.

Regards

Norman
