How's it going?



Firstly, I'd like to introduce the arrival of a new Editor on the site, 

John.  John was working in the Wrox Java team before coming over to ASP 

side.   



Now then, I'm kinda hoping you can help me out.  



As an editor on ASPToday, I'm constantly trying to find ways of building 

our relationship with you guys. I really believe that the site can get 

better and better if we all communicate.  Find out together what's hot, 

what's not, talk about problems, discuss solutions etc....  Also, as 

programmer myself, it does me good, keeping in touch with the real 

programming world...  



I was wondering what you thought about this idea, and if you were kinda 

hot on it, what would be the best way of going about it?  For example 

should we use this forum more and make it more and more like a little 

community, or would you like to just email me, or is there something 

different you have in mind.



Would you like to see some of the article ideas before they get 

commissioned to see if you think they are hot or not?  



I reckon it would be cool to have a group of people to bounce ideas off.  

I'd love it in fact.

Hi Vickie,



Congrats to John on joining the team.



I think it's a good idea to talk about a variety of timely, topical,

important subjects.  Maybe feedback requests on specific Wrox titles, ASP

issues, coding practices, humorous stories in using ASP, horror stories,

etc.   The key would be to avoid things that we can't find in the other

newsgroups.
