Good morning, everybody,

I am a beginner of .net and web services stuff. I have been trying to add 
Web reference to my web application (or window application) project for 
the Web service I created, but just unable to do it because I always got 
the error every time I tried. Here is the error I got:

Web Services 
 
(none) 
No Web References were found on this page. 
Click for help on finding a Web Reference. 
 
 
Errors 
 
The proxy settings on this computer are not configured correctly for web 
discovery. 
Click for additional help on proxy settings. 

Does that mean that I must have a proxy server (currently I do not have 
any proxy server) in order to do the .net projects? 

Could anybody tell me what is the problem and how to solve it?

Hi ! It should be a valid wisdel page (*.WSDL extension of). Check 
quickstart examples shiping with VS.NET.
