Very new to ASP+

I'd like to start developing with ASP+.  What IIS version supports ASP + 

and where can I get a pre release of the ASP+ parser.  Also, is there a 

beta editing tool for ASP+?

ASP+ will form part of the .NET framework and there doesn't seem to be an

upgrade of IIS with it. It is currently only supported in preview form on

Windows 2000, although plans are afoot to make sure it is supported on all

Windows platforms from Windows 95 onwards. 



As for availability of the beta, it was given away on CD to PDC attendees at

PDC in Orlando in July, but Microsoft don't plan to make it more generally

available via the web until September/October time, so if you don't have

access to a CD preview, then you'll have to wait.



As for beta editing tools, well ASP+ boasts much stronger integration with

Microsoft and third party tools, so I'd imagine Visual Studio.NET beta would

form a solid editing tool. If (like most of us) you're not on the beta, then

you can carrying on using existing tools such as Notepad :-)!

the only beta of ASP+ runs under IIS 5 on Win2k machines but is at the

moment not available for the public. It may be that it will be release now

in August or in even September. It was handed out to the visitors of a

developer conference some weeks ago so far I know.
