NGWS was the old code-name for .NET before we finalized the naming.
Likewise ASP+ is the old codename for ASP.NET before marketting got
involved....
New glossary of terms:
.NET Framework: Overall core .NET programming model
ASP.NET: Web programming piece of the .NET Framework
Don't you just love marketting....

I'll just briefly submit that's its difficult to frame an effective
regular expression to feed to a search engine when looking for articles
about the .NET framework. They either return th results of every domain
that ends in .net, ever site that has the word "net" in it, or offer you a
snooty message to the effect that ".NET" is too common an RE to be worth
looking for. Has anyone found a good way of framing such a search yet.
Altenatiely, would it be possible for someone at Microsoft to get ".NET"
recognised as a special regular expression with search engines; in order
to improve our greping comfort?
