Uma,
.NET Enterprise Servers is actually
the family name for a group of products
that Microsoft develops.
Each of the products in the family
adds a critical ingredient to your
enterprise computing architecture.
For example:
- Microsoft Exchange brings Messaging
- Microsoft SQL Server brings a Database
Management System.
There are lots of ways that you can
achieve scalability but it largely
depends on the applications.
What are you trying to achieve?
