I think this is old question but my sample not work like the imagine.



I have a HTML control (such as the button). In the real world (for cutdown 

the traffict to server), I would like to do something at client (web page) 

before going to server and do something. For example, the application need 

to check the e-mail address (must invalid format: contain the @ and dot (.) 

symbol). And in this case, the server code only run when all information 

are valid or the client invoke that. 



How the way to do that? Please help me, someone!!!!!
