aspx thread: Can't make web Application, VS.NET hangs

Please Help
After I have created a new project based on the web application template,
I could see the new project and Webform1.aspx being created but my main
pull down menu freeze ( ie save, open icons).
Also, if I right click on webform1.aspx and select view designer, I
get "Microsoft Development Environment has encountered a problem and needs
to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." and the program restarts.
If anyone has seen this, please let me know, many thanks for your time.

Hai,
We also faced such a type of problem.I think the error is in the installa
tion process.
so,its better to reinstall Visula Studio .net.
