aspx thread: A doubt..

Hi,
I just wanted to know these..
What is ASP+?
What is ASP.NET?
Whether both of these are different or same..?If different, what are the
differences..?
Could u please clarify my doubt..

ASP+ was the original name. It has since been changed to ASP.NET by
Microsoft. So, they are one of the same.

Here i have got one more doubt..
I tried accessing cobol programs thru asp+ webservices..I want to know is
there anymethod of accessing the same thru ASP or JSP?Have u got any good
resource on ASP/VBSCRIPT/ASP+/.NET?

Hi Srikanth,
ASP+ and ASP.NET are indeed the same thing. ASP+ was
an early name given to ASP.NET before the marketing
types at Microsoft got to it.

They are the same thing - M$ changed the name from ASP+ to ASP.Net to match the
other emerging technologies' names. Visit. http://www.asp.net for more detailed
info and samples.
