Visit the microsoft site to download the Beta, the beta itself has some

useful examples. NB Ensure that your testing machine is not your working

machine. Trust me on that one.

Thanx

HI Shreekar,

Well you can get all the info regarding the ASPx stuff from the microsoft

site. Also you can download the .net framework which is presently in beta

from the microsoft site. There are also other sites where you can get more

info from like 123aspx.com.

Also make sure that you install this beta product on a different other than

your development machine.

All the best ahead and welcome to the world of .net..

cheers

amod

Also, note that you can run the .Net framework along side VB 6, but dont use VS6 SP5

- it messes up some stuff with ASPX pages.

<shameless plug>

You should check out Wrox's book - A Preview of Active Server Pages+

</shameless plug>

i learned a lot from that book. It's ADO.Net section was a little weak, but the

ASPX was great.

good luck,

john
