aspx thread: error installing Frontpage Server Extentions

Anybody have had the same problem when installing Windows Component Update?
I've installed vs.net 2-3 times and i have never seen that problem before...

There is a problem with FP extensions when W2K sp2 is already installed.

Not that I'm aware of. Only thing to do for now is to
install sp1
install dotnet
install sp2
I am having the same problem with a server over here, and I really don't
like to reinstall, so if anyone knows of a patch then please.

I managed to install vs.net now...
I added a key called
HKEY=5FLOCAL=5FMACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\HotFix\Q274294
in the register with regedit
and added a field:
Installed REG=5FDWORD 0x000000001
