Why can't you use boundcolumns with in asp.net beta2?

Error msg:

Literal content ('<asp:BoundColumn HeaderText"Id" DataField=3D"userid"/>') 

is

not allowed within a 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataGridColumnCollection'
