Is .NET Framework beta 2 applicable for NT 4.0. I have had no luck in
getting the necessary dll mapping installed on my box. I would hate to
agree that it's not support for NT, given all my effort in the matter.
Would someone know
1. Does this work for NT 4.0? Possible Reqs?
2. Where to get the config files to correctly map the dll's?
I have seen similar requests however in my attempts I always hit a dead
end dll that was not under my Framework/v1.0.2914/.
Any help in the matter would be most gracious, as the matter is becoming
prolonged.

I saw an blurb about NT 4 compatibility in the Beta2 release notes (i think it was)
that said because of how security is done in NT 4 - the .Net framework will not run
on that platform, yet. They said they would have to rewrite the entire security
module for NT 4 to get it to work. I think it said something about trying to do
that and releasing it as a service pack so you could run .Net on NT.
sorry.
