How to highlight and select a string from textarea, and save to a variable 

to be pass to a function, not only copy, cut and paste.

How do i do this using c# in asp.net  (WebForm)



I have a cyber friend recommended to use Rich Text Box , however, I think 

RichTextBox is not supported by webform, is there any alternative i can 

try one?
