aspx thread: JDK-like documentation for .Net Framework??

Message #1 by agaisin@c... on Sun, 13 Jan 2002 10:34:09 +0000
I've always loved the documentation for java api's - take a look here to see what I mean:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/docs/api/index.html

There's a tree (hierarchical) view of all the classes.

There's an index of all the classes and methods etc...

You can find documentation and get quick understanding and context very very quickly and easily.

Anyone know where I can find similar documenation for .net?

I would love a complete listing of all the namespaces, with the ability to view the hierarchy and drill down and to search an index
for the class or method name etc...

classbrowser is a great beginning, but more details for each class and method (like overview and explanation) and an index (and/or
searching ability by class, method or property name) would be so helpful.

Thx,
