Does Visual Studio.NET recognise Visual Interdev 6.0 solutions or projects?

When trying to open a .vip file in visual studio.NET I get an error saying

"The application for project 'C:\myproject.vip' is not installed.  Make

sure the application for the project type (.vip) is installed."
