aspx thread: .Net redistribution version

NT Usershello,
I have installed the redistribution version on a win2000 machine. And
have
accessed my site. Everything is working fine except the ActiveX control
.
The page is even not displaying the control. But the thing to note is
that
if I install the complete Visual Studio.Net on the machine.... it starts
working. Anybody has any idea what is missing?
Any help will be appreciated.

did you installed the .net distribution pack ??

.net distribution pack? what exactly mean by that
i have installed the .net redistribution version available from this url
