ok..some may see that I posted this by mistake on another forum (sorry).
I'm pulling my 2 hairs out on the top of my head... I'm getting this error
message over and over again, no matter what OS I use. I've tried it with
Win XP Pro and Win2k...with no success. I'm getting the following message.
[04/10/02,19:45:07] Visual Studio .NET Enterprise Architect - English: [2]
ERROR: Error 1305.Error reading from file: e:\Program Files\Microsoft
Visual Studio .NET\Msdn\1033\ProgIE.HxS. Verify that the file exists and
that you can access it.
??? Now..I'm the only user and I'm admin. It installes with no problems
till just after I insert disk 2 (about 10mins after this point) then I get
that error message. Any thoughts or suggestions??

Probably your CD is damaged. Look for scratches on its back :-)
Test: try to copy the file ProgIE.hxs from CD (located in <CD
Drive>\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET\Msdn\1033) to hard
drive. It may not copy it.
If you still want to install it, choose to install without help and
documentation option.

Scott,
My co-worker had a similar problem when trying to install .Net architect on
his machine but the file he was getting the error on was different then
yours. We just copied the CD's to the network and installed from there
without a problem. You may want to try the same approach. HTH
Mark
