I know this is a bit off topic, but I am hoping that someone might know
if it is possible to extend the IDE of .NET too allow for new types of
files to be created.



For example, right now you can use the File, Add new item... menu
selection to add new ASPX pages, C# page, so on and so on.  Is there any
way to define new types of pages to be added?
