My network admin thinks that I can do .NET development without having
administrator rights to the development server. Is this correct? I have
a hard time believing it...if you do need administrator rights could
someone give me a URL stating that a .NET developer needs administrator
rights. Thanks!

You only need to be in the "VS Developers" group. This group is created
when you install .NET.

Actually, I take that back. The group is called "Debugger Users".
See this MSDN article to set up non-admin dev.

I assume that the "VS Developers" group is created when you install Visual
Studio .NET? My admin only wants the framework on the server not the full
Visual Studio .NET...how would we create the "VS Developers" group without
installing VS.NET? I have the VS Developers group on my local PC. Thanks!
