I have a situation where my intranet has an Applications section. We have
about seven applications that we are converting from ASP to ASP.NET.
The thing is that I have several UI elements that I've made into ACSX files
that provide common intranet framework. Each application resides in this
framework and will need to make use of the controls.
However, if I create a new application in VS.NET-- which is what I want to
do-- it will isolate the new apps. Therefore, if I put the ACSX files in one
app, I will just have to copy and paste them to each new app.
This sort of ruins the whole idea of user controls, as each time I need to
update a UI element, I'll have to save over every copy.
Therefore, my question is-- can I make each seperate, isolated application
somehow the same, common ASCX files?
Thank you for any advice.
