When I did some apps in VB.NET using Notepad and tried to run them, it would
give me error messages, complete with line numbers and reasons. When I start
a new C# app in VS.NET and try to build & then run, it only gives me error
messages-- no line numbers, anything. It's very tedious.

Any ideas why?
