Hi,

I also posted this on ado_dotnet....sorry for any duplication.

I am trying to connect to a remote server to query Index Server.  However, 
I get the following error:

'Unknown connection option in connection string: provider. '

I'm using this connection string:

"Provider=MS Remote;Remote Server=RptServer;Remote Provider=MSIDXS;Data 
Source=LDocumentServer;"

And the box has MDAC 2.7 installed.  The error seems to indicate that its 
choking on MS Remote.  Has anyone experienced this, or has anyone worked 
with Index Server using DotNet?
