Hi Umair,

Your best bet is to download the Microsoft .NET

Framework SDK BETA 1 (watch for wrapping):

http://download.microsoft.com/download/VisualStudioNET/Install/2204/NT5/EN-U

S/setup.exe

Before you install that program, I would

recommend that you have a fresh installation

of Windows 2000 ready with Service Pack 1

applied. IIS should already be configured

aswell. Just for luck I would also hit the

Windows Update site and make sure that you

have the latest critical updates and security

patches.

You should also download the latest version

of Internet Explorer 5.5 SP1.

Then run the program above, it will install

the rest of what is needed.

To learn what to do, once the installation

is complete I highly recommend going to

http://localhost/QuickStart/. It has some

fantastic code samples. If you get stuck

there, then come back to the list. There

is alot to learn, but you will get there.

If your talking about the .Net SDK Beta 1 from the MSDN download center....it is better to download
it full (the whole archive file) and not the 11 part download....ofcourse...used download accelerator for convinience...you can
have it at www.download.com. It also happenned to me, I downloaded it 3 times and I'm glad it works in the last try...

    Cheers!

    Mel
