aspx_beginners thread: i have problem with detail.asp please help

Hi every one
please help or recommend me the following code!!!!!!!!
what do i do wrong? when i run admin/default.asp then password & and get
to the admin i could do the following
1. enter the data as shwon on page 202 Begining e-commerece
then press save that looked fine and saved but
when I go back to see the following detail.asp database all i get is
the "?" mark instead what i have enterd i have tried evry possible thing
any sujestion would be appriciated thanks
