aspx_beginners thread: Visual Studio.Net Help !!

Hi All,
I have recently installed Vistual Studio.Net Beta 2 on my PC... and was
trying to start working with it..but whenever i try to get some help it
asks me to insert the MSDN disk into CD drive..
I have installed the complete MSDN stuff on my PC and even when i try to
give the installed path location as C:\... , it still asks me for the CD..
Can someone help me as to how to change the setting so that it takes the
path as C:\ and not as E:\ (from where i installed the software)

Samir,
I believe that this is normal behaviour, although I may be wrong. I
don't think that all the help files are installed, even when you specify
a full installation.

When you installed the product did you change the MSDN install to run
from a path? Even if you select to install everything via custom
complete, it does not install the contents of the CD. There is an
option on the right hand side to install to, and it needs to say "path".
Hope this helps.
PS - You maybe required to uninstall the product to reinstall it
correctly, and I mean the whole thing.
