Hi all,



I tried to create a Web Service as mentioned in the .NET documentation of

Microsoft. I was successful in that. Then I tried to add a web reference to

this web service in another client application using Add Web Reference.



In the Add Web Reference I mentioned the correct URL

http://localhost/AuthorWebService/AuthorWebService.vsdisco

as mentioned in the documentation , but it did not locate the web service.

Any ideas what could be the reason.



The left pane of the Add Web Reference page shows blank...
