Hi all,
I am new to the .NET Platform and am in the process of 
learning to write a ASP.NET webservice.
I have used VS.NET and have IIS installed locally on my 
machine(It is working fine)
I am able to compile the service but am not ablie to test 
it either in VS(I get a message that the webserver does 
not support debugging of ASP.NET applications) or using 
browser -
(http: //localhost/HelloWorldService/HelloWorldService.cs.a
smx - gives page not found error)
When i try running any aspx page at local host then the download  window 
opens up..
I tried installing the frontpage 2002 server components to 
solve the issue but id does not seem to help..
I've been struggling a while with this.. It may look silly 
for some of you experts but it will be a great help if 
someone can help me on how to proceed..
