I'd like to tell you about my latest book, Beginning ASP.NET E-Commerce.

If you've worked through Beginning ASP.NET or another ASP.NET book, and 
are looking to use your ASP.NET knowledge to build an e-commerce website, 
then this book is for you.

I co-wrote the book with Karli Watson, who's already written on several 
Wrox books including Beginning Visual C# and Professional ASP.NET. 
Together we will show you everything you need to get an e-commerce site up 
on the web. We'll see how to set up a searchable catalog, a shopping cart, 
order processing, and credit card transactions.

We've included two different payment methods in the book. I'll show you 
how to set up your site to sell products using PayPal? which is the 
easiest and fastest (legal) way I know to take money off online customers. 
Then later in the book Karli will show you how to use the major credit 
card processing gateways to give you more control over financial 
transactions.

Along the way we'll show you a lot of general ASP.NET techniques: you'll 
see how to get the most out of Visual Studio .NET (including how to remove 
some of the limitations of Visual Basic .NET Standard Edition :) ), and 
how to build expandable web applications using a powerful 3-tier 
architecture.
