I'm running IIS 5.1 and Visual Studio.net Enterprise Ed on a Win XP pro
machine.
I'm simply trying to create a new Web Application project in VS, and I have
done so succesfully before, but for some uknown reason, it suddenly stopped
working.
When trying to create a new web application project, I get this error:
Unable to create Web project 'WebApplication1'. The file path
'c:\inetpub\wwwroot\WebApplication1' does not correspond to the URL
'http://localhost/WebApplication1'. The two need to map to the same server
location. HTTP Error 403: Access Denied
I've been trying to figure this out for two days, but I'm getting nowhere.
The file extensions are all in order. Home Directory on Default Website is
set to c:\inetpub\wwwroot. Please ask if there's any other info that could
be useful.
I've got a feeling the solution is redicolously simple, hehe. Thanks for
all your answers in advance.
