xspwp.exe - Application Error
The instruction "0x6500bbec" referenced memory at "0x0cb8e5dc". The memory
could not be "read".

This happens randomly in many circumstances; Fr'instance:

On my dev machine when opening ASP.NET samples.
On my dev machine when opening my dev site, which is small to medium size.
The same two above for another developer on a laptop in France.
On a client's machine (!) when they open my site over an intranet.

I believe all the machines have IE 5.5.
