I posted this to the msnews.aspnet NG and have got no answer at all - is 
it too simple a question or does no one know - please someone help?!!! 

The ASP.NET included with VS.NET Beta 2 is just regular flavour ASP.NET, 
and not 
the Premium Edition (therefore doesn't include outpur caching etc). Don't 
know 
why MS didn't include Prem Edit, but that's a moot point. My question is, 
is it 
safe to download the ASP.NET Premium edition Beta 2 install and install it 
over 
the top of the ASP.NET installed by VS.NET Beta 2 (standard .NET 
framework), or 
are there any issues that I need to be aware of? 

My platform is Win2k Server, and as I say I am running .NET framework Beta 
2 (no 
service packs or updates yet installed).
