Are you sure the NT server has the .NET framework installed? If you are
positive, then make sure the directory (or parent directory) where the page
resides is marked as an "application." Also double-check and see if there
are MIME mappings to the .aspx extension. Likely one of these is the cause.

Does anyone know why I would get a dialog box saying do you want to save
this file or open from current location when I browse to a web page I have
written called logon.aspx? I have set up ASP.net on my laptop with IIS5 and
Win2k and it works great but when I migrate to a
winNT4 server I get the above message?

Can anyone enlighten me?

thanks

RuSs

VBug Winter Conference 2001

Make no mistake - there's a great learning curve
for developers moving from COM to .NET. So why
would you want to be a pioneer and cross the bridges
first? Attend the .NET Developer's Conference
(28th to 30th November 2001) In London and realise
the benefits of adopting the technology early. By
attending you'll understand the key challenges and
be left with a thorough understanding of the major
.NET fundamentals. If you're already working
with .NET this is a must-attend event.
