Here at Wrox, we have completely revised all the code for Professional
ASP.NET, and ensured that it is compatible with the final release of the
.NET Framework.
All the updated code is freely available in both VB.NET and C# at:
http://www.wrox.com/ACON12H4.asp?WROXEMPTOKEN=193795Z4mYs6lp6e8VyaGVEba3&ISB
N=1861007035
It is also available at Dave Sussman's and Alex Homer's own site, where you
may also run most of the examples:
http://www.daveandal.com/books/7035/default.asp
Barring a few exceptions, you should be able to use the vast majority of the
revised code in conjunction with the previous edition of this book.

Edition
I'd suggest that anyone who's worked with Professional ASP.NET can
readily comprehend the need for a "Special Edition". Professional
ASP.NET is a pretty nice book at heart, but it is absolutely wracked
with errors. It's just off the scale, even the 100+ listed errata don't
cover anything like all of the code listing errors.
Frankly what I think would be more fair is for owners of Professional
ASP.NET to get the new book for $12 plus shipping or something. Or at
least the same free access to the online version for a year that the new
buyers that haven't been debugging the original edition are getting.
That said, this is the only Wrox book I've been dissapointed with, and
only because of the fact that in it code examples that actually work as
printed are a rarity.
