I don't know if you're still waiting on an answer for this but I had the
same issue when I migrated a crystal reports demo over to a server from my
dev machine that had the full version of VS.Net on it. One easy way to
manage this is to use a setup package and if setup correctly when you
migrate the application all the appropriate assemblies will be added to
the assembly cache. Now if you don't feel comfortable using those you can
also manually add the necessary assemblies to the assembly cache. You'll
need to move the DLL's that are available for crystal reports over to the
Web Server and add each assembly to the assemlby cache from the .Net
Framework Configuration tool that is installed when you install VS.Net.
You should not need to do a full install of VS.Net on the web server. I
hope this helps.

the application to the web server, it returned errors indicating that
the Crystal Reports assemblies were not available. Upon further
investigation, I found that the Crystal Reports assemblies are not
installed on the web server.
My question is: Do I have to use the Visual Studio.NET installation to
get Crystal Reports on my web server, or is there another way?
Thanks in advance..Chris
