Hi, Ryan!
First of all, many thanks for replying fast!
I have already checked and rechecked on the server that all necessary
permissions for my username is correct. The problem is that I can add a
table using MS Access 2000 but not with VS.NET. I was also thinking that
this could be a permissions issue as I can create tables perfectly on
another SQL DB with another login name, but how come I can add tables with
Access?

Marlon

Subject: [aspx_professional] Unable to add SQL tables with VS.NET
Hi!
I am having some trouble when I try to add a table to my SQL container
using VS.NET. I created a connection to the SQL server using Server
Explorer in VS.NET, and it's able to connect to the server and open the
DB. I'm supposed to be able to right-click on the Tables folder under
the
server, and an option to "Add a Table" is supposed to pop up in the
context menu. It doesn't. Also, I am able to add tables to that DB
using
MS Access 2000. Lastly, when I connect to a different SQL Server I was
also able to add tables this way.
I am desperately running low on ideas... any suggestions?
Many thanks!
Marlon
