Hi, this is my first post to this group.

I'm wondering what kind of a setup you use when developing ASP.NET
solutions.  I've got a a seperate machine for each of the following:
-Visual Studio (development station)
-SQL Server 2000
-Internet Information Server
-Visual SourceSafe

I use FrontPage server extensions to connect to the VSS but I find that
to be very slow, 2-5 seconds to open each file.  I disconnected the VSS
connection yesterday and the performance improved alot.  I love the
debugging mechanism of the .NET but I also find that to be somewhat
slow.  When attaching manually (using tools | Debug processes) it takes
up to a minute to attach.

What kind of setup do you have, how is the performance and are you using
multiple developer environment?
