Building 43, Shasta Room at Microsoft main campus in Redmond. Talks by
Jan Machat & Chris Kinsman.  Jan Machat started his career on IBM
mainframes and followed the changes of the technologies through minis to
local area networks to .NET and hand-held computers. He is a Microsoft
Worldwide Partner and Symbol Technologies Development Partner.  Chris
Kinsman is one of the founders of Guided Design and formerly the VP of
Technology for DevX.com, a web site that provides information for
developers. He is author of "Visual Basic.NET Developer's Guide to
ASP.NET, ADO.NET and XML" and "C# Developer's Guide to ASP.NET, ADO.NET
and XML".  He has extensive experience with ASP, Web Farms, Clustering,
Data Access, and Scalability.  Chris will talk about rich client
techniques in Web Forms as well as thin client techniques in Windows

ASP+ Deployment Architecture, ASP.NET Reliability System, and the
ASP.NET HTTP Runtime Architecture. Prior to ASP.NET, Scott was a member
