The value I am trying to retrieve on post back is the
_changedPostDataConsumers of the System.Web.UI.Page object. The problem
is that this is a member variable (Private at that!) does anyone have a
way to retrieve this information?

I am trying to determine which event caused the control life cycle to
start over. I am using a drop down menus and when it posts back I need
to determine which drop down menu was selected.. or if something else
caused an event.
