It turned out to be that the server had a reboot msg waiting to ber
answered!

strange that it would effect the aspnet_wp.exe

but hey...

Maybe permission problem.  Are you sure the aspnet_wp.exe process has
access to this dir (or the authenticated user if you use
win-authentication)?  If so, reboot and see if this keeps occuring.  I
had this a couple of times with the VS.NET beta's.  They seemed to lock
the file before compilation, but didn't free it afterwards....
