aspx_professional thread: Debugging Stopped Working...

Message #1 by "Robert Sindall" <rsindall@z...> on Thu, 13 Mar 2003 16:29:22 -0000
HI guys.
Just do an IISReset .You don't need to restart the machine and if you
have said Yes to the message that appears you will need to go to options
and check the debugging option again.

Regards

Hi,

When you tried to run it did VS.Net display an alert that unable to
attach debugger or something to that effect and ask u if you wanted to
stop debugging with Yes/No buttons. Probably not or you would have
mentioned it. This has happened to me in the past and - please do not
laugh at my highly technical solution - restarting Studio, failing which
restarting the machine has managed to solve the problem so far. If both
of these do not work for you, God forbid, then you need to manually
attach the debugger processs to the aspnet_wp.exe process (poor verbiage
here, I know, sorry) - look this up in the help for more details. HTH.
