Well senthil...
I dont think there any webservice available to change all ur VB code
to VB.NET code as of now..... A idea for a development feature..... anyway..
web serice is availability of infomation over the net. Say u need a
temperature bar or weather report in ur website. Where will u get
information abt the worlds timings and the WEATHER REPORT...? There are
people who have alredy built these components and u can use then thro
internet, and that they get paid by the people who got their service for
say, every day, or on click basis...ect......

lots available at msdn..

keep me posted if u still have issues

Application

Hi Friends,

Can anyone help me on the below?

I need to convert a VB 6.0 Application to VB DOT NET.
Can I use web service for some functionality? But this application will be
used only by its user.

In what scenario can I choose web service?

Thanks in Advance.
