dotnet_windows_app_design thread: Are there any Application generators for VB .NET?
I am re-writing a VFP client/server app in VB.NET and I am not aware of
any code generators. If there was one, I would not use it. I have exper
iemented
with the wizard that 'converts' vb to vb.net, and although it does a fair
ly
nice job, if you are re-writing a large app, start from scratch.
If your VFP code is in DLLs, you can use COMInterop and the RCW to speed
things up a bit. Make sure the DLls are well debugged and tested though.
