Actually I tried uninstalling and re-installing the entire IDE a couple of
days ago with the same result.

Got u'r problem.I feel You have to reload the ejb
compiler b'coz the problem is of internal vm.
But if you are using weblogic 5.1 then first go to the
tools option and check whether your path for the
compiler is correct.If nothing happens reload the ejb
compiler.
