hi there, 
 well the other suggestions that u have already recieved r correct.. the 
tracing bitmap may at times be a little unpredictable dependin on the 
originial jpeg image, no of colors etc.. 
so definetly if u have lesser colors then trace it and separate the lamp 
of the genie.. then u can animate each individually..

the  suggestion to create the two in flash is definelty the best way as 
not only would the size factor be reduced but u wont get any nasty 
surprises like when using the tracin one..
