hi there.. 
  see i firstly wanna ask u this ..when u say u have created a roll over 
bttn .. have u checked the behaviour of the bttn? it shuld be "Button" 
else the rollover effect wont be visible as u want it.. it may play 
continuously if its a movie clip.. or do nothin if its a graphic.
thgh i cant be sure this is the prob.. also u say that u want the movie in 
which the bttn is present to stop when it reaches the button? well then 
the command "onRelease(stop) will not work as ur button is inside the 
movie clip n before u click it would proceed to the next frame..." kind 
tricky?? look this is just what i assume frm ur maill . i can check it out 
better if u can send me the fla...
