As Netscape 6 is still in beta, i'd imagine that this is your problem, and 
that not all features have been fully implemented yet. Have you tried the 
latest milestone build from http://www.mozilla.org yet? Milestone 14 was 
the one that equated to Netscape 6's public beta I believe, but Milestone 
15 is now available and might have more features enabled. On the Mozilla 
site, there is also an online "bugzilla" forum that allows you to post 
questions or bugs to the developers and you'd probably get answer from 
them.

Alternatively, you could post your full code to this forum, and I can test 
it on Milestone 15 for you to see if it still doesn't work.
