The answer is no. While HTML 4.0 does stipulate this ability in the
standards, and indeed we allude to it in Instant HTML 4.0, it seems that no
browser yet has this capability. I have tested it on betas of IE5.5. and NC
6 and found that it was still missing. I can test it again on the final
version of IE5.5 and the latest milestone (17) of Netscape Navigator, but I
don't hold out much hope. I will let you know, if it does work on one of
them, otherwise assume it doesn't - unless anybody else here knows to the
contrary?
