Here.. Try this.  Desing everything in Front Page and when you are done 
with it, Copy the code and paste it into notepad, textpad, wordpad or 
whatever you feel comfortable with. Then, delete the extra tags. I'm a 
hard-coder but used FP in the past... I know the feeling. Once you are 
done with the design, it's always a good bet to get in there and make the 
edits yourself. 

Oh yeah. Don't use FP to save the file. Save it yourself that way you 
know FP will not add the tag in.
